EBS-1600 Picas-II Industrial Inkjet Printer
The EBS-1600 Picas-II industrial, self-contained inkjet system has been designed to print onto porous and non-porous materials in harsh industrial environments. The electromagnetic print mechanism allows printing with very fast-drying inks without the risk of the printhead drying or clogging between prints. The print solenoid in each nozzle generates sufficient force to remove any dried ink or dust from the nozzle each time it fires making the EBS-1600 the ideal solution for printing in dusty environments.
The touchscreen HMI drives a choice of 5 printheads with print heights ranging from 6 to 58mm:
Printhead 7N/13 - 7 dots / 13mm max. print height
Printhead 7N/24 - 7 dots / 24m max. print height
Printhead 16N/29 - 16 dots / 29mm max. print height
Printhead 16N/56 - 16 dots / 56m max. print height
Printhead 32N/58 - 32 dots / 58mm max. print height
The convenient and clean self-pressurised ink cartridges require no compressed air and can be changed in seconds. A choice of 1-litre and 500ml cartridges is available with cleaner cartridges allowing the system to be flushed with ease.
Industrial large-character printing
With a range of print heights from 6 to 58mm, EBS-1600 PicAS-II printers are ideal for marking a wide range of products. Text from 6 to 58mm high including variable data (date, time, counters...), simple graphics, barcodes and 2D codes (depending on substrate) can all be printed onto porous and non-porous materials.
