Ventus Print-and-Apply Systems

The Ventus range of print-and-apply labelling systems includes models to label a wide range of products including cartons, shrink-wrapped packs, bags, sheet materials, continuous web materials, extrusions and many other items.

Application methods include blow-on for delicate products, tamp for high-precision labelling and for labelling into recesses, tamp-blow for labelling irregular or uneven products, wipe-on for high-speed labelling onto flat surfaces, corner-wrap for labelling around the corner of cartons and front/back of pack applicators.

SATO S84ex and S86ex print engines allow a choice of 200, 300 and 600dpi print resoltion with 104mm print width and 200 or 300dpi resolution with a print width of 167mm. For high throughput applications, print speeds up to 16"/sec (406mm/sec) can be achieved. Ethernet, USB2.0, RS232C serial and parallel interfaces are included as standard with optional WiFi and Bluetooth.

Ventus systems offer a choice of touch-screen controller or basic control panel. The touch screen controller can be used to quickly adjust the applicator's settings as well as run label design software such as NiceLabel locally making a self-contained solution. The basic control panel can be used to edit applicator settings and recall pre-programmed settings.

Ventus systems can be supplied on simple floor stands for use on existing conveyors, work stations and production lines. Martek also offers inline systems including integrated conveyors with optional barcode readers, reject stations, production line integration and other customised options.
